Nimeto aimed to maximize attendance and engagement for their exam exhibition without using paid advertising. The challenge was to reach both the local community and the school’s own network effectively.

The brief


Nimeto is a small vocational school in Utrecht specializing in training creative professionals in restoration, decoration, and interior design. With around 1,700 students, Nimeto offers programs such as Specialist Restoration & Decoration, Signmaking & Wayfinding, and Styling & Design. For the final exam exhibition of the Specialist Restoration & Decoration program, the goal was clear: attract as many visitors as possible to celebrate the students’ work — and all for free. The challenge? Generate buzz and engagement without relying on paid advertising.

Our concept


For this project, we designed a cohesive set of promotional materials. To capture Nimeto’s vibrant and creative spirit, we leaned into their distinctive use of bright colors — pink, blue, yellow, green, and purple — reflecting their bold visual identity. The design features playful abstract shapes inspired by Nimeto’s logo, creating an energetic and modern look that stands out both online and offline. A special touch was incorporating the names of all graduating students featured in the exhibition directly into the poster design. This gave personal recognition to the artists and added a layer of authenticity and connection between the school, students, and audience.

Alongside print, we crafted social media content optimized for organic engagement across Instagram, LinkedIn, and Facebook. The messaging was tailored to resonate with different audiences: peers, families, art enthusiasts, and local communities. To boost attendance, Nimeto sent personalized emails to all students and teachers, creating a sense of community and personal invitation.

Distribution strategy


The campaign combined traditional offline outreach through city-wide flyer and poster placement with an online social media approach focused on clear communication and community connection. Email outreach reinforced the message internally, ensuring that the Nimeto community was fully engaged and motivated to participate.
